Today, we continued to look at the different types of technology. We first looked at simulations. In class, we started to debate whether we are living in a personality. Personally, I do not think we are living in a simulation. I do not think we are living in a simulation because everyone has control of their own actions. Even though events may occur that are not explainable, I still do not believe that we are living in a simulation. We then talked about augmented reality. In augmented reality we are adding reality into our current space. If I had a choice to live with or without augmented reality, I would choose to live without it because I feel like face to face interaction would be lost in the real world, and that is something I enjoy every day. Today we started class talking about computers. The arduino is a board that has a lot of components that handles inputs and outputs. For example, it connects the physical world with the digital world. We then talked about creative coding. It is used to create live visuals and art to one's eye. In addition, creative coding is used as a form of entertainment. This could be the next step in cinema to evoke a greater connection between film makers and audiences by creating more creativity. The truth with coding is that the opportunities are endless. Coding has been used as a form of expression for many individuals. Then we talked about performance. First, we talked about messa di voce. This singing exercise is important because it perfects your crescendos and decrescendos.  We then watched various performances containing interesting sounds.
